Principal Software Developer, DNAstack2024 – Present

  • Founded the company's platform team, creating ownership for cloud and application infrastructure to solve development-team growing pains
  • Led multiple technical initiatives to scale the company's ability to handle more customer deployments:
    • Terraform product installers bringing new deployment time from 1–2 weeks down to under 4 hours in each of the major clouds
    • CI system and pipeline updates to fully automate infrastructure and application upgrades across the entire customer fleet
  • Served as technical lead on the company's AI adoption strategy, defining key metrics, surfacing adoption obstacles, and providing tools and mentorship to support users across multiple teams
  • Drove fixes for high-priority product issues around performance and cost:
    • Infrastructure change leading to >50% cost reduction per customer deployment without loss of function or performance
    • Query and data-structure changes improving Trino query performance 5x
